In the last year, many people have approached me asking me about my perspective, and the perspective of A Course in Miracles, on the favorite book and film The Secret. I was also recently asked to participate in an expert panel discussion on The Secret and the law of attraction at the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.
As I view it, The Secret offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating.
The first message is which our thoughts have a strong influence on our life. Another insight is that individuals are eligible for a rich life, although true wealth is a lot more than cash and “toys.” Instead, it involves feeling fulfilled in most areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. What we need to do is look within to discover if, in reality, we feel worth authentic wealth.
Another message that’s subtly conveyed in The Secret, and one that I think to be true, is that whenever we have a heartfelt desire and we say yes to doing our part to manifest the desire ucem em portugues, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces come alive.
On the flip side, I’m the indisputable fact that more “toys” in the shape of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats can make us happy and could be the demonstration of our capacity to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for most people that are already “bankrupt” in the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The issue with this specific picture is that the desire to own often originates from a sense of lack rather than feeling of completeness. And because of this, whatever we gain hoping of feeling “full,” whole, happy, or accomplished, will inevitably not work, since we feel an emptiness internally.
The truth is that individuals are not empty, but already full, and once we understand and feel this to be our new reality, then your outer world begins to “echo” our inner awareness.
A Course in Miracles reminds us that to the amount that individuals can accept and be truly grateful for the inheritance as being an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we shall attract to ourselves the perfect outward expressions of our claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our authentic Self will likely then miraculously bring into manifestation any material items that will aid the greater good of both our life and of these around us, and yet we shall feel no dependency upon them for the happiness.
So, if you intend to know and live the Real Secret, find your Authentic Self, reclaim it-and your real inheritance will follow.
